General
Yes, Malkar Industries ships pan-India with dealer support, and exports internationally. Contact our sales team for lead times to your location.
Each tool holder's product page lists compatible machine types (lathe, CNC, sliding-head, etc.) and the shank sizes available. If you're unsure, send us your machine model in an enquiry and we'll recommend the right holder.

A drawing (PDF or DWG) or the gear data: module or diametral pitch, number of teeth on the gear and the pinion, pressure angle, face width, shaft angle and mounting distances. Add the tooth form (straight, spiral, zerol), bore and keyway, material, heat treatment, finish and quantity. Attach the drawing in Enquire Now on any Malkar product page.
Straight bevel gears have straight teeth running towards the cone apex: simple, with low axial thrust, used at moderate speeds. Spiral bevel gears have curved teeth with more than one tooth in contact at a time, so they run quieter and carry more load at high speed, but create higher axial thrust.
A bevel gear only meshes correctly with the pinion it was designed for, because the pitch angles depend on both tooth counts. To make one part we need the data of its mate (tooth count, module, pitch angles, mounting distance) or the mating part itself; often both are replaced together.
Rapid
Yes. Pitches of 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3mm, and custom wheel diameters/widths/bores, are available on request. Send an enquiry with your requirement and we'll quote it.
Stainless steel, brass, PB, alloy steel, mild steel, and aluminium are all standard. Custom materials can be discussed with our technical team.
Form knurling displaces material to raise the pattern without removing material (no swarf). Cut knurling removes material to cut the pattern, producing swarf. It's typically used where form knurling would over-stress the part.
