Worm shafts made to customer requirements in chromium steel and stainless steel: the long cylindrical worm that drives the worm wheel and carries the bearing seats.
A worm shaft, often simply called a worm gear, is a long cylindrical gear that also provides the surfaces the bearings run on. We make worm shafts to customer requirements; sizes not listed are made on request to customer specification. We also make involute spline shafts.
