Hobbing cuts the teeth of a gear by rolling a rotating hob cutter against the turning blank, generating an accurate involute profile tooth by tooth. We run 32 MIKRON hobbing machines for standard and non-standard gears made to your drawing.
Our hob cutters for MIKRON machines are made in-house, with blanks kept in stock, which keeps lead times short.
Gear cutting also covers gear racks, with straight or helical teeth.
We supply gearbox, actuator, wiper motor and fan manufacturers, among others. Send your drawing or gear data (module or DP, number of teeth, pressure angle, helix angle, material and quantity) for a quote.
