Helical Shaft
Helical gear shafts with integral teeth, diameter 2 to 200 mm, module 0.2 to 6, helix angle 0 to 90° RH or LH, in steel, stainless steel, Delrin or nylon.
Helical shafts carry helical teeth cut on the shaft itself. We make them to customer requirements for efficient power transmission, smooth operation and long service.
Options
- Material: carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and special alloys, or Delrin and nylon.
- Helix angle: worked out with you for efficient torque transmission, minimal vibration and quiet operation.
- Diameter and length: to suit the mating parts.
- Machining: CNC turning, milling and grinding for tight tolerances.
- Heat treatment: induction hardening, case hardening or nitriding.
- Surface finish: polishing, chrome plating or special coatings.
- Keyways and splines: added to your design.
